Richard Bonham
Richard
Bonham is the Founding Trustee of the Maasailand Preservation Trust, founder
of the Amboseli/Tsavo Game Scouts Association and the Chyulu Rhino Project,
as well as instigator of the Predator Compensation Scheme and co-owner of Ol
Donyo Wuas lodge in
the Chyulu Hills. As a result of Richard's collaboration with the elders
and his support of education on the ranch, the Chyulus has become one of
the most successful and diverse non-National Park eco-systems in Africa today,
containing what is thought to be some of the last truly wild black rhino
in Africa.
